Who is the Mastermind Behind Ladaki Baheen Yojana?; Fadnavis Reveals the Story Behind the Scheme!
Mumbai - With elections just around the corner, the Mahayuti government has launched the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, which has already started depositing money into the accounts of women in the state. However, the scheme has been criticized by opponents and has sparked a credit war within the ruling party.
Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has revealed that the scheme was inspired by the Madhya Pradesh government's Meri Ladli Bahna scheme, and that credit for the plan should be shared between Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and himself.
The credit war has led to tensions within the coalition, with the NCP and Shiv Sena disputing credit for the scheme. In a cabinet meeting, Shiv Sena leaders objected to the mention of "Ajit Dadanchi Ladki Bahin Yojana" on an NCP banner, leading to the argument.
Fadnavis has clarified that credit for the scheme should be shared, and that Chief Minister Shinde and himself should be recognized for their role in launching the scheme.
