Pune : The Zilla Parishad Water Polo competition was recently concluded. In this, the players of Dhruv Global School brought glory to the school by winning medals in the water on the first day itself. Among hundreds of players, the school players performed excellently and won the gold medal.
Dhruv Global School Director Yash Malpani and Principal Sangeeta Rautji congratulated all the players on their success.
The competition began in the swimming pool of Dhruv Global School. In this, Dhruv Global School swimmer Mandar Kolhatkar opened his first account of victory with an excellent performance. He dived hard and won the silver medal in the Deccan Maratha Junior College Landewadi competition. Dhruv Global School Nande shone his talent by winning the medal.
Ishan Mantri, Soham Bari, Parijat Chandra, Jaitra Bhor, Adarsh Khobragade, Partha Pote, Sumedh Panse, Mandar Kolhatkar, Yash Revatkar, Vivan Kale, Sharvil Jangam, Ayush Nashi and Advik Bhalekar participated in this competition. They showed their talent by winning medals with their thrilling games. Many schools from Mulshi taluka participated spontaneously in the organized competition. Meanwhile, in the water polo category, Dhruv Global School teams defeated Deccan Maratha Junior College Landewadi 11-1.
The competition was inaugurated by Principal Sangeeta Rautji, Sports Coordinator Rohit Patil, Head of Sports Department Dattatray Kathe.
