Discrimination Based on Race and Color Persists Today!

Mumbai, Ramesh Autade

Society continues to discriminate against individuals based on caste and color, with western countries also grappling with discrimination against blacks and whites. This has led to ongoing violence, with whites and blacks still being shot today.

Ziauddin Siddiqui, President of All India Camping Human Dignity, expressed his regret over this situation during a press conference at the Mumbai Press Club. He highlighted the recent use of bulldozers to demolish the houses of certain religious communities in India, resulting in the destruction of thousands of homes.

Siddiqui emphasized that it is unjust for individuals to spend their entire lives building a home, only to have it destroyed in an instant. He also condemned the rising cases of sexual assault against women and girls, including recent incidents in Badlapur, Maharashtra.

In response to these issues, Wahedat e Islami will launch the Humanity Awareness Campaign from September 5 to October 4. The campaign aims to promote unity and address discrimination.

Maulana Abdul Rehman Qureshi, Hussain Syed, Khalid Khalid Khalid Siddiqui, and other officials were present at the press conference.
