DISPUTE OVER CREDIT FOR CHIEF MINISTER'S SCHEME !

Mumbai : A dispute has emerged between the Ajit Pawar group and the Shinde group over credit for the Chief Minister's Ladki Bahin Yojana, a flagship scheme of the grand coalition government.

In an advertisement released by the Nationalist Congress Party's Ajit Pawar group, the scheme has been rebranded as "Dadacha Vada" (Dada's Promise), with no mention of the Chief Minister's name. The ad features Ajit Pawar's photograph and a helpline number linked to the NCP.

The Shinde group has accused the Ajit Pawar group of trying to hijack the scheme's credit, with MLA Sanjay Shirsat warning that such actions could create misunderstandings within the grand alliance.

However, the Ajit Pawar group has denied the allegations, stating that the scheme's official name remains the Chief Minister's Ladki Bahin Yojana and that they are simply promoting it as part of their Jan Sanman Yatra campaign.

The dispute highlights the ongoing tensions within the grand coalition government over credit for its schemes and programs.
