MLA Chandrakant Patil and BJP Office Bearers Rally Brahmin Community for Mahayuti Candidate Ahead of National Elections
Pune, Representative
State Higher Education Minister Chandrakant Patil interacted with the organisations of the Brahmin community in Pune on the occasion of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the country. In this meeting, he seeks the full support of the Brahmin community behind Mahayuti’s Pune’s candidate, Murlidhar Mohol, to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will again come into power in the centre.
At this time, various dignitaries, including Rajya Sabha MP Medha Kulkarni, BJP state vice president Madhav Bhandari, NCP city president Deepak Mankar, Pune Lok Sabha candidate Muralidhar Mohol, BJP state spokesperson and Mahayuti coordinator Sandeep Khardekar, BJP Udyog Aghadi state vice president Vishwajit Deshpande, businessman Kishor Sarpotdar, etc., were present on the dice.
The Brahmin community in Pune has been a consistent supporter of the BJP in the city, ensuring the party’s victory in the last few elections. However, in the recent Kasba by-poll, the BJP faced a setback due to their failure to field a Brahmin candidate. This led to Congress’s Ravindra Dhangekar defeating the BJP’s Hemant Rasane, with the Brahmin community’s votes shifting towards Congress, thus playing a crucial role in the outcome.
Learning from this setback, the BJP swiftly rectified its mistake by nominating former Kothrud MLA Medha Kulkarni for the Rajya Sabha seat in the recent election. This move was aimed at securing the support of the Brahmin community through Kulkarni. Despite fielding a Maratha candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the BJP is cautious and understands the importance of not neglecting the Brahmin community in the upcoming polls.
Today’s event was important from this perspective. To this event, Vishram Kulkarni of Shukla Yajurvedi Brahmin Mandal, Rajendra Kulkarni of Deshasth Rigvedi Brahmin Education Promotion Institute, Sunil Parkhi, Vishwanath Bhalerao of Pune Center of Akhil Central Brahmin Institute Nashik, Chaitanya Joshi of Brahmin Federation, Advocate Ishani Joshi of Brahmin Jagruti Seva Sangh, Advocate Mandar Joshi of RPI Brahmin Aghadi, Ashok Joshi of All Branch Brahmin Federation, Pramod Joshi, Upendra Jape of Parashuram Seva Sangh, Rishikesh Sumant, Swapnil Kulkarni, Dheeraj Joshi, Shailesh Khoptikar, Advocate Sanjeevani Pandey, Shruti Kulkarni, Vijay Shekdar of All India Brahmin Federation, Vrishali Shekdar, Ketaki Kulkarni, Pallavi Gadgil along with all other major office bearers of all organizations were present.
On this occasion, Chandrakant Dada Patil said that the Brahmin community is a society that always contributes to the progress of the country by standing actively with the BJP. He said that the government has also started an organisation called AMRUT to solve the problems of the Brahmin community, and the government is trying to solve the problems faced by the Brahmin community from time to time. He said that the government under PM Modi’s leadership will always stand by them.
Pune Lok Sabha candidate Muralidhar Mohol said that for the past 25 years, the entire area in which he has been doing politics is a Brahmin-dominated area, and the Brahmin community has always supported him. He affirms that he also will not give any chance of complaint to Brahmin society, which has always stood firmly behind him. He appealed to all to unite and strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a global power.
