Panneerselvam was expelled from AIADMK in the month of July 2022. Later, Palaniswami was elected as the top leader of the main opposition party.

The troubles of Panneerselvam, the leader expelled from AIADMK, are increasing continuously. Now the Madras High Court has banned him from using the party symbol. Apart from this, Panneerselvam will also not be able to use the party flag and letterhead. Actually, the case was filed in Madras High Court by AIADMK General Secretary Palaniswami. Justice N Satishkumar has passed this order on this.

Three appeals were rejected on January 11
Earlier on January 11, 2024, a division bench of Justice R Mahadevan and Justice Mohammed Shafiq had dismissed three appeals filed by O Panneerselvam. At that time the division bench had also said that if Panneerselvam wishes, he can file an application in the High Court against the order passed against him.

O Panneerselm then approached the single judge. After hearing arguments from both sides, Justice Sathishkumar passed the order that Panneerselvam cannot use the party's symbol, flag and letterhead.

That's why Panneerselvam was expelled
Let us tell you that O Panneerselvam, popularly known as OPS, was accused of anti-party activities. Subsequently, he was expelled by the General Council of AIADMK in July 2022. After this Palaniswami was elected as the top leader of the main opposition party.
