We are committed to make the country a global manufacturing hub
Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar addressed the gathering at the India-Russia Business Dialogue. He insisted on trade with Russia. Emphasizing on Make in India, the Foreign Minister said that we want to make India a global manufacturing hub. The External Affairs Minister stressed on starting direct flights between the two countries to increase tourism between the two countries.

In the business dialogue, the Foreign Minister said that we should encourage the trade of both the countries, it is needed today. Big changes like Make in India are happening in India. Discussion on tourism
The Foreign Minister said that Russia and India have historical ties. Today tourism is a new area for business on a global scale. We should find new opportunities for tourism, so that more and more tourists can come between the two countries. For this we should start direct flights between the two countries, which is more important. North-South and sea corridors are most important for connectivity. He also stressed on getting global trades done in Indian currency. The Union Minister said that we should focus on our partnership. Russia is looking towards Asia only for India.
