PCMC, MCCIA Join Hands to Launch Industry Helpdesk in Bhosari

Pune:In a bid to streamline industrial growth, PCMC’s Industry Facilitation Cell will open a helpdesk at MCCIA’s Bhosari office, announced Commissioner Shekhar Singh. The move, part of Maharashtra Government’s 100-Day Action Plan, aims to resolve industry grievances swiftly while promoting skill development and worker welfare. MCCIA leaders hailed the initiative as a “game-changer” for local businesses.  

What Will the Helpdesk Do?
- Act as a single point of contact for industries to solve their problems quickly.  
- Help businesses with government-related paperwork and approvals.  
- Organize monthly meetings with officials and quarterly meetings with the PCMC Commissioner to discuss industry issues.  
- Connect industries with skill training programs for workers and corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.  

Why Is This Important? 
PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh said that this helpdesk will make it easier for businesses to operate by reducing delays and improving communication between industries and the government. He called it a step toward "Government at Your Doorstep."

Former MCCIA President Deepak Karandikar welcomed the move and said the industry fully supports this initiative. He praised PCMC for taking active steps to help businesses grow.  

What’s Next?
The helpdesk will soon open at the MCCIA office in Bhosari, making it more convenient for industries to get quick solutions to their problems.
