Bihar Politics | A major party has dropped out of the NDA alliance; Announcement before the elections!
There has been a big upheaval in Bihar politics. The state is holding assembly elections this year. Due to this, politics in the state has started heating up. While the grand alliance and the NDA alliance are building fronts, the ruling NDA has been shocked. Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) chief and former Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras announced on Monday that he is quitting the NDA. Meanwhile, Pashupati Paras is the uncle of Union Minister Chirag Paswan. However, there are political disputes between uncle and nephew. There was a rift between the two in the Lok Sabha elections as well. After that, now that the Bihar elections are approaching, Pashupati Paras has taken a big decision and shocked the ruling NDA alliance.
We were with the NDA since 2014, but now our party has nothing to do with the NDA. RLJP is no longer a part of the NDA alliance. Because we are not getting respect in this alliance, criticized Pashupati Paras. The current government in Bihar is anti-Dalit.
Corruption in the government has reached its peak. There is a situation where nothing gets done without paying bribes. We are also opposing the Waqf Amendment Bill. We are not opposing the Bihar government's prohibition policy. But it is not right to imprison poor people in the name of this policy. Pashupati Paras demanded that the poor people whom the government has imprisoned so far should be released.
He also demanded that the late Ram Vilas Paswan be given the Bharat Ratna award. Former minister Paras informed that our party will soon start a member registration campaign in 243 constituencies in the state.
We will go with the party that will give us due respect in the elections. All the party leaders will come together and decide in this regard. Nothing is yet decided about which alliance or party to form an alliance with. However, we have started preparations for the elections independently, informed former Union Minister and RLJP chief Pashupati Kumar Paras.
