Pimpri: The budget session has been fruitful in resolving various issues related to the improvement projects of Mutha, Mula, Indrayani, Pawana and Ulhas rivers in Maval Lok Sabha constituency, local and railways. Along with this, there is a large amount of illegal infiltration from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar and Nepal. Due to this, national security is at risk. Shiv Sena MP Shrirang Barne from Maval informed that his voice was also raised in this regard in the session.

The budget session of the central government has just ended. In this session, MP Barne raised various issues related to the security of the constituency and the country. MP Barne has given information about this through a press release. The Pawana and Indrayani river improvement schemes should be approved immediately.

The Indrayani river originates from Maval. The river flows through the Dehu-Alandi pilgrimage site. Devotees of the Warkari sect bathe in this holy river. Therefore, they demanded that the Pawana and Indrayani river improvement schemes be approved immediately. The government has responded positively to it. They also demanded that the Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and Zilla Parishad, which come under the jurisdiction of the state government, be entrusted with the river cleanliness program to prevent the increasing pollution of the rivers.

Important railway stations like Akurdi, Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala and Panvel Junction should be included in the 'Amrut Bharat Station' scheme and their status should be improved. The Pune-Lonavala local service at 1:30 pm, which was closed after the Corona period, should be resumed. So that students, women and the working class will benefit from this. The work on the third and fourth lanes should be started immediately. The new Panvel-Karjat railway line should be completed at a fast pace. The third and fourth lanes should be constructed between Panvel and Lonavala and there should be good connectivity with the new airport. The Neral-Matheran toy train service used to be completed in 1-2 hours earlier, but now it takes three hours. This service needs to be improved. The government has been urged to resume the ticket concessions for senior citizens that were stopped during the Corona period. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has responded positively in this regard. Therefore, MP Barne expressed his belief that these issues will be resolved soon.

Demand for implementation of new policies for green fuel

CBG (Compressed Bio-Gas) can play an important role in India's energy security, as well as biological fuel will conserve the environment and provide economic support to the agricultural sector. Therefore, a concrete plan should be made for how many new projects will be started in the next 5 years. The central government is promoting bio CNG, hydrogen fuels. This will reduce dependence on traditional petrol-diesel and make environment-friendly alternatives available. New policies for green fuel and their effective implementation are necessary. The need to adopt sustainable and environment-friendly alternatives for long-term energy security. The widespread and effective use of clean energy concepts is important, and the country's progress should be accelerated by proper use of energy sources. MP Barne said that he also demanded an emphasis on the increased use of sustainable fuels instead of petrol-diesel.

Pension of nine thousand rupees for EPS holders

67 lakh retired EPS employees in the industrial, public, cooperative and private sectors in the country are pensioners. They ultimately get a meager pension of only one thousand rupees. It is insufficient even to meet basic needs. Therefore, MP Shrirang Barne also demanded the provision of free medical facilities to all EPS 95 pensioners and their spouses, as well as a pension of nine thousand rupees to retired employees not included in this scheme.
