Pimpri – Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has launched an ‘Industry Facilitation Cell’ to promote industrial and financial investment. Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate informed that under this cell, emphasis will be placed on strengthening coordination between entrepreneurs and the municipal corporation and resolving industrial problems, facilitating communication and facilities.
A special meeting was organized with entrepreneurs to provide information about the Industry Facilitation Cell implemented by the Municipal Corporation at the main administrative building of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation in Pimpri. Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate was speaking while giving guidance on this occasion. On this occasion, Additional Commissioner Trupti Sandbhor, Chief Information and Technology Officer as well as Industry and Facilitation Cell and CSR Head Nilkanth Poman, Regional Officer Mukesh Kolap, Ajinkya Yele, Information and Technology Officer Deepak Pawar, Industry Facilitation Cell Director Vijay Vavare and CSR Advisor Shrutika Mungi and entrepreneurs of the city were present.
Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate presented the Udyog-Sarathi portal on this occasion. He said that the 'Investment Promotion Action Program' is being implemented under the '100-day Action Plan' of the state government, and this cell has been implemented as a part of it. The main objectives of this cell are to create a conducive environment for industrial investment, increase communication with local traders, entrepreneurs and labor organizations, and provide legal and administrative support to investors. Also, the services are being made more accessible, transparent and efficient through the use of digital technology through the 'Industry Facilitation Cell' and 'Industry Chariot' portals. From this portal, entrepreneurs will get licenses, approvals and other government facilities with a single click. Also, their problems can be resolved quickly through direct communication, said Additional Commissioner Khorate on this occasion.
Regular communication meetings will be organized in the Industry Facilitation Cell. In this, discussions and solutions on local issues will be held through monthly meetings with field officers, policy dialogue will be held through quarterly meetings at the commissioner level, as well as information services on CSR initiatives, welfare schemes, health, education and social development will be provided, informed the Chief Information and Technology Officer.
Vijay Vavare, Director of the Industry Facilitation Cell, appealed to the entrepreneurs to register more and more on the 'Udyog Sarathi' portal. He also said that consultation meetings will also be organized with various industry organizations in the future.
The program was introduced by Chief Information and Technology Officer Nilkanth Poman. On this occasion, Abhay Bhor, President of the Industry Association, congratulated the Municipal Corporation for this initiative and assured full cooperation on behalf of the entrepreneurs.
