Pune : Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Pune Chapter organized a grand two-wheeler rally in Pune city today on the occasion of 'World Navkar Mahamantra Day'. This rally received a spontaneous response from citizens of all religions.
Thousands of citizens participated in this rally, which started simultaneously from different parts of the city. The main objective of this initiative was to create awareness about the Navkar Mahamantra mass chanting ceremony.
On April 9, from 7:02 to 9:36 am, Navkar Mahamantra will be chanted collectively at S. P. College Ground, Tilak Road, Pune. Citizens from 108 countries including India will collectively recite Navkar Mahamantra on this day and pray for world peace and welfare.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the main event in Delhi, where he will chant the Navkar Mahamantra and then address the countrymen. The Prime Minister's speech will be telecast live at the venue in Pune.
The event has been organized by JITO Pune, and JITO Chairman Indra Kumar Chhajed, Chief Secretary Dinesh Oswal, Secretary Laxmikant Khabia and Media Coordinator Abhijit Dungarwal have appealed to more citizens to participate in this historic event.
