Owaisi besieged Center on Waqf Bill, said - BJP does not have majority!
Modi is dependent on Nitish and Naidu
The central government has said that it will bring the Waqf Research Bill in the budget session of the Parliament. The JPC has not submitted its report on the bill. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi attacked the central government over this.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has slammed the central government over the Waqf Research Bill. He said that the BJP does not have the majority in the Lok Sabha to pass the bill. If Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar oppose it, the bill will not be passed.
Owaisi said that PM Narendra Modi is dependent on the crutch of Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar. At the same time Union Home Minister Amit Shah is spreading lies in the country regarding the Waqf Bill. Amit Shah is the Home Minister of the Government of India and his statement is proof that he is trying to make an unconstitutional law which can be challenged in court. This is a violation of the articles of the constitution and it will harm the waqf of the entire country.
He said that the government is removing the land of Waqf property, how will it get its benefit? You are giving up revenue worth lakhs of rupees. Amit Shah is lying to the country that the Waqf Tribunal can be challenged in court. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dependent on the crutch of Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu and if they do not support this unconstitutional bill, it will not become law. On Friday, Owaisi protested against the Waqf (Research) Bill by tying a black armband during Friday's Friday prayers.
Amit Shah said this
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that the Waqf Research Bill will be introduced in the budget session of Parliament. Shah said that no one needs to fear the proposed law. The Narendra Modi government is researching the Waqf Act within the ambit of the Constitution. The opposition is misleading the Muslims. No rights of Muslims will be curtailed. They are just lying. On Owaisi's protest, Amit Shah said that people have the right to do so. Some people do it through their clothes, some people do it with their words. People in Parliament oppose through logic.
