Devendra Fadnavis posted on the social media platform in this regard and said that Legislative Council member Milind Narvekar had raised a question regarding conducting MPSC exams in Marathi. The exams for engineering and agricultural technical posts are currently conducted in English, because the books related to these are not available in Marathi. However, now permission has been given to conduct engineering education in Marathi. Therefore, soon the books for this course will be available in Marathi. Accordingly, the state government has planned to conduct the exams for all technical posts in Marathi.
Speaking about Talathi recruitment, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Talathi and Zilla Parishad posts are not filled through the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Also, the process of issuing appointment letters is not done through the commission. Therefore, Fadnavis has also clarified that these subjects have no connection with the manpower of the commission.
