Tax and prices of four-wheelers will also increase

Ajit Pawar said, it is proposed to levy motor vehicle tax at the rate of 6 percent on vehicles whose price is more than 30 lakhs. It has also been decided to increase the maximum limit of this tax from 20 lakhs to 30 lakhs. This decision to increase the vehicle tax limit is expected to generate additional income in the state government's treasury. This is likely to generate additional revenue of about 170 crore rupees.

7 percent increase in tax on light vehicles

It is proposed to levy 7 percent motor vehicle tax on light vehicles carrying goods up to 7,500 kg. Ajit Pawar said that the state government can get a revenue of Rs 625 crore through this increased tax.

Proposal to increase stamp duty

As per Section 4 of the Maharashtra Stamp Duty Act, if more than one document is used for a single transaction, a stamp duty of Rs 500 will be charged on book documents instead of Rs 100. Regarding the stamp duty paid for a document, it has been decided to charge a fee of Rs 1,000 instead of the current fee of Rs 100.

The second phase of the Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Project will be implemented in 7,210 villages in 21 districts

The state government will increase the subsidy of this scheme by Rs 50 thousand for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural Phase 2.

A fund of Rs 8 thousand 100 crore will be made available for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Urban-1.

Additional subsidy will be given for innovative construction, use of technology, green buildings and use of solar systems.
