Dhruv Global School Shines in Athletics Championship, Wins 63 Medals!
Pune : Dhruv Global School has made a remarkable achievement in the recently concluded Watine Taluka School Sports Championship, organized by Mulshi Zilla Parishad. The school's athletics team won a total of 63 medals, including 9 gold, 26 silver, and 28 bronze medals.
The athletics competition was held at Shivchhatrapati Krida Sankul Balewadi, with events such as 400m, 600m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, and long jump. The students of Dhruv Global School showcased their agility and determination, earning medals in various categories.
The school's under-14 boys' team performed exceptionally well, with Parth Lande winning gold medals in the 600m and 400m events, and a silver medal in the 80m hurdles. Rushil Kaul won silver medals in the 600m and 400m events, while Tarang Gupta won a silver medal in the 200m event.
The under-17 boys' team also had a impressive performance, with Nimish Deshmukh winning a gold medal in the 110m hurdles, and Siddhant Dighe winning a gold medal in the triple jump event.
In the under-19 boys' category, Mitesh Wagh won a gold medal in the 3000m event, while Yuvraj Pedram won a silver medal in the discus throw event.
The girls' team also performed well, with Reet Pal winning a gold medal in the 600m event, and a silver medal in the 400m event. Reva Chougule won gold medals in the 3000m and 1500m events, while Ananya Mistry won a bronze medal in the 1500m event.
Dhruv Global School Director Yash Malpani and Principal Sangita Rautji congratulated the students on their achievement, praising their hard work and dedication. The students were guided by coaches Dhiraj Ghadge and Hrishikesh Pawar.
