Pune : In a remarkable educational initiative, the Alard School of Health & Biosciences, Alard University Pune, organized a one-day industrial visit to the Vasantdada Sugar Institute (VSI), Manjari, Pune, on 18th February 2025.The visit was held under the blessings of Dr. L. R. Yadav, Founder and Chancellor of Alard University, Pune.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajai kumar Jain, Dean of the School of Health & Biosciences, opened the event with an insightful introduction about Alard University and its contributions to academic excellence.
A total of 35 undergraduate students from the School of Health & Biosciences participated in the visit, where they had the opportunity to explore three key departments: Agricultural Microbiology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, and Plant Tissue Culture.
B.G. Mali gave brief overview regarding agriculture Microbiology Department. He gave idea about Bio fertilizer produced by VSI.Mr. Shubham Patil gave brief overview regarding Plant tissue culture Department. During his talk he gave brief idea about sugar cane tissue culturing. Mrs. Madhvi Ghan showed and briefly described Genetics and Molecular Biology Department.
