Educational Institutions Must Provide "Necessary" Education, Says Shilpa Patwardhan
Mumbai : Shilpa Patwardhan, working president of Godutai Jambhekar Vidyalaya, stressed the importance of educational institutions providing "necessary" education, rather than just focusing on academic credentials. This statement was made during the inauguration of the school's centenary celebration, which was attended by Union Energy Minister Shripadji Naik.
The event, held at the Godutai Jambhekar Vidyalaya, marked the beginning of the school's year-long centenary celebrations. Patwardhan's remarks highlighted the need for educational institutions to adapt to the changing needs of the job market and provide students with relevant skills and knowledge.
The celebration also honored Godutai Jambhekar's family members, including her granddaughter Pragya Jambhekar and granddaughter-in-law Neeta Jambhekar, who were felicitated by the organization's co-chairman Shrikant Duggikar. Other notable attendees included Godutai's grandson Vijay Jambhekar, vice-president Vilasji Patan, and Vijay Sakhalkar.
