Congress Leader Attacks Government Over Beed Sarpanch Murder Case!
Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar has launched a scathing attack on the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, alleging that it's trying to protect the big fish involved in the Beed Sarpanch murder case. Wadettiwar claimed that preparations are being made to "kill small fish to save big fish," hinting at a larger conspiracy.
The case involves the murder of Masajog Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, who was kidnapped and killed on December 9 after trying to foil an extortion attempt on an energy firm in Beed. Valmik Karad, a close associate of NCP minister Dhananjay Munde, surrendered before the police on Tuesday and was sent to 14 days of police custody.
Wadettiwar also questioned the Beed police-administration, asking why beds were being taken to the Beed police station. "Were they for Valmik Karad, who is in police custody?" he asked, demanding an investigation.
Furthermore, Wadettiwar urged the government to fulfill its election promises, including providing financial aid to women under the Ladki Behan scheme and waiving farmers' loans. The Maharashtra government has formed a 10-member SIT to investigate the murder, but the opposition is demanding more action.
