Pune : Allard University recently organized a grand Freshers' Party, Aagaj-2024, to welcome its newly admitted students. The event was hosted by the School of Health and Allied Sciences, School of Law, and School of Design.
Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Dr. Poonam Kashyap said, "Newly admitted students are the saplings of the university, and after nurturing them, they provide shade to the institution and society like a huge tree."
The program aimed to introduce the freshers to each other and instill enthusiasm for their academic journey. Chancellor Dr. L.R. Yadav guided the event.
Dr. Ram Yadav encouraged the students, saying, "You have an open canvas in the form of a university. Fill your dreams with different colors and make them beautiful."
Dean of School of Health and Biosciences Dr. Prof. Ajay Kumar Jain advised the students to excel in their chosen fields and utilize the university's advanced facilities and quality teachers to become valuable human resources for the nation.
The event showcased the students' talents through ramp walks, poetry, songs, games, demonstrations, and dance performances. Kashish and Amrit Srivastava from Health and Biology, and Prakriti and Om from the School of Design were awarded the titles of Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher.
APS Director Jyotsna Mishra and Principal Shubhra Srivastava were honored for their role as jury members. Dean of Management Science Prof. Dr. D.K. Tripathi, Dean of School of Design Dr. Prof. Amit, and Prof. S.K. Srivastava attended the program.
The event was coordinated and managed by Dr. Savita Pandey, Dr. Disha Patel, and other professors.
