Anil Kapoor recently shared a special post on social media to mark 25 years of his iconic film ‘Taal’. Revisiting Subhash Ghai’s “cinematic masterpiece”, Anil Kapoor shared that playing the role of ‘Vikrant Kapoor’ was an “unforgettable moment” in his career.
He shared a memory about his favorite song ‘Ramta Jogi’. He shared “Farah Khan wanted to choreograph the original song but she opted out at the last minute. Saroj Khan, the veteran choreographer, stepped in just one night before the shoot of Filmistan and I, being the enthusiastic actor that I am, will do the song without any rehearsal.”
I am “forever grateful” to Subhash Ghai for believing in him. Anil Kapoor further said that “Working with the phenomenal dancer Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was a special experience. He further shared that ‘Taal’ was special to him as he had “won all the major awards” for Best Supporting Actor that year. “It was truly It was a humbling experience. Along with the post, he has shared some photos from the sets of ‘Taal’. The post received overwhelming love from his fans who shared how the film was responding to them. His hosting on ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ won the hearts of the audience once again and is currently gearing up for his next theatrical release ‘Subhedaar’. Which is the first collaboration with filmmaker Suresh Triveni. He is reportedly a part of YRF’s intelligence universe as a RAW officer.
