Akhilesh Yadav clashed with Giriraj Singh-Piyush Goyal in the House over Sambhal violence!
The Speaker Calmed Him Down
Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief, has made some strong statements about the recent violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, Yadav claimed that the incident was a "well-planned conspiracy" aimed at disturbing the communal harmony in Sambhal, which is known for its brotherhood.
Yadav alleged that the BJP and its allies are spreading rumors and trying to create tension in the area. He also criticized the Sambhal administration for acting in haste and demanded suspension of the officers concerned and filing of a case against them.
The violence in Sambhal broke out on November 24, leaving four people dead and many more injured. The incident occurred during a court-ordered survey of the Shahi Jama Masjid, a 500-year-old mosque in Sambhal.
Yadav's statements come amidst the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament, which has been marred by protests and disruptions over various issues, including the Sambhal violence.
