Kagal - In a massive show of strength, NCP leader Sharad Pawar welcomed Samarjitsinh Ghatge into the party at Gaibi Chowk, Kagal. Pawar expressed confidence that Ghatge will not only win the election but also become a minister.
Pawar criticized the current government for its failures, saying it has ruined agriculture, forced farmers to leave the country, and oppressed women. He praised Ghatge's accounting skills, saying he will do "subtraction at the right time."
Ghatge, a CA, said the meeting was historic and broke the record of the 2009 meeting held by late Sadashiv Mandlik. He appealed to deliver the NCP's trumpet to every household and create Swaraj.
The event was attended by thousands of Raje lovers from the Kagal Assembly Constituency, including prominent leaders and activists.
