Sarthi Barti Mahajyoti's High Level Committee Doubts!

Mahajyoti's former director Prof. Diwakar Game has made serious allegations against commissioner of Tarti and the chairman of Competitive Examination Implementation and Control Committee

Pune : In order to maintain unity and harmony in the autonomous institutions of Barti, Sarathi and Mahajyoti, Amrut and Tarti, a government took a government decision on 30th October 2023 and established a secretarial committee under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary and all the powers of these four autonomous institutions were given to this high level committee. Due to the level committee, the autonomy of Sarthi Mahajyoti and Barti, the autonomous institutions of the government has been completely threatened and all their decisions have come in the hands of the officials of the Ministry, and the main purpose of creating these autonomous institutions has been defeated.Mahajyoti Sarthi and Barti institutes have found it difficult to start and run welfare schemes for the benefit of students as well as on a regular basis, thus making it difficult for students to afford it. Therefore, recently the research students of Barti, Sarthi and Mahajyoti took out a long march from Pune to Mumbai with the demand that the students should  to cancel this black government decision of 30 October 2023.

The matter did not stop here. While the same committee of the government has given the rights to Commissioner of Tarti. The committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Rajendra Bharud has been given all the powers to draw tenders for the selection of training institutes for the students who will undergo training in Sarathi, Barti and Mahajyoti institutes.  Dr. Rajendra Bharud, Commissioner of TARTI who is currently Chairman of Competitive Examination Implementation and Control Committee. After verification Dr. Bharud and other members  of this committee is going to decide on who to give or not to give the tender.

Allegation of asking for 3 lakhs to pass the tender
At present, this committee has received tenders from many organizations for carrying out the training of Sarathi, Mahajyoti and Barti as per the advertisement. Tarti's tender consultant Prashant Buddhiwant, working under Dr. Rajendra Bharud, visited the tendering organizations before the tender approval process began. And demanded three lakh rupees from each of the institute operators for sanctioning the tender of the institute. Prashant Buddhiwant said that he was making this demand on the request of Tarti Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bharud. This matter is not over here, but Prashant Budhiwant says , I will give you a contract for three years as per the tender given by you. But after getting the contract, You will have to pay 25% of the three-year tender amount immediately, he said. Threats were issued after some organization operators asked to think.

Complaint to Chief Secretary and Chief Minister                                                                                                                    After knowing this, the former director of Mahajyoti Prof. Dr. Diwakar Game accused  the chairman of this committee Dr. Rajendra Bharud has been seriously accused of demanding money from the organization drivers through his subordinate officer for tender approval, and a written letter to this effect has been sent to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde and  the Chief Secretary of the state, as well as the heads of Sarthi, Mahajyoti and Barti.

Demand to remove Bharud and Buddhiwant
The state government has taken away the autonomy of Barti, Sarathi and Mahajyoti institutes which were created after many years and started depriving lakhs of students from education and training by leaving them at the mercy of some officials of the ministry. On the other hand, heads of institutions like Commissioner of Tarti have started an open market for the education of these students. In this regard, the former director of Mahajyoti Prof. Diwakar Game has expressed deep regret and has demanded that this tender process be stopped immediately and Commissioner of Tarti Dr. Rajendra Bharud and Prashant Buddhiwant should be excluded from this process.

Demand to maintain autonomy
Similarly, the letter has also requested to give this tender and organization selection work to Sarathi, Mahajyoti or Barti. Also, a demand has been made to investigate this matter. Confusion has also arisen regarding the transparent examination and selection of students for this training under the authority of such officers. Also, in order to end all this confusion, the government should cancel the government decision of 30th October 2023 and maintain the autonomy of student-oriented institutions like Sarathi, Mahajyoti and Barti. Diwakar Game has made a statement to the Chief Minister of the state.

The tender process has not yet been completed. The deadline for sending the tenders is till 3rd July, so it is wrong to make such allegations. Also, after the completion of the tender process, the verification of all the institutions will be completed and the institutions participating in the tender process will be presented in front of all the officers of Barti, Sarthi and Mahajyoti in the control committee. I personally will not choose an institution; The entire process is going to be implemented transparently, so Commissioner of TARTI and Chairman of Competitive Examination Implementation and Control Committee Dr. Rajendra Bharud appealed, no organization should fall prey to such fraud.
